Questo dipinto di grosse dimensioni rappresenta il movimento vivace delle onde del mare, dell'acqua cristallina della località di Maratea, bellissima città del Sud Italia sulla costa della Basilicata, luogo in cui è nato l'artista.  Colori tenui di azzurro e turchese chiaro, alternati a tinte di verde smeraldo pastello, blu oltremare, danno al dipinto un'atmosfera fresca e ariosa, mentre l'intenso uso del bianco dato con pennellate decise e a volte confuse donano alle schiume marine un eccezionale sensazione di movimento. 

This painting represents the movement of large vibrant waves of the sea, crystal clear water of the town of Maratea, a beautiful city on the coast of southern Italy's Basilicata, where the artist was born. Soft colors of blue and light turquoise, interspersed with pastel tones of emerald green, ultramarine blue, give the painting a fresh and airy atmosphere, while the intense use of white brushstrokes and sometimes confusing give the foams marine an exceptional sense of movement.Note: the measurements refer to the painting without a frame.
